A 22-year-old boy died in a road accident on the Eastern Express Highway (EEH) at Vikhroli at 12.45 am today.

Au00a022-year-old boy died in a road accident on the Eastern Express Highway (EEH) at Vikhroli at 12.45 am today.

Tejus Mane was riding from Mumbai to Thane on his Honda Unicorn bike when an unknown vehicle dashed into his bike from behind.


Due to the impact, Mane lost his balance and seriously injured his head. The driver of the vehicle sped away without stopping to help Mane.



The Vikhroli police rushed him to Wockhardt Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. The police have registered a complaint and the search for the accused is on.
