A one-man committee of Anand Limaye, divisional commissioner, Nagpur, appointed by Governor S C Jamir in February to probe the Rs 100-crore scam has indicated serious malpractices.
Despite recommendations by Limaye that the case be handed over to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), MAFSU has paid no heed to it. A copy of this report is with MiD DAY.

It is, therefore, suggested that such complaints would better be dealt by the ACB," the report said.
In March, MiD DAY had reported that 450 veterinarian staff were recruited to MAFSU last year after having bribed university officials between Rs 2 lakh-Rs 5 lakh.
The matter came to light earlier in February after hundreds of aspiring candidates demanded a refund after they were refused the jobs.
The vice-chancellor of MAFSU, Dr A S Ninawe, was unavailable for comment.
