The controversy over recruitments to the Maharashtra Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (MAFSU), Nagpur, refuses to die down.
A one-man committee of Anand Limaye, divisional commissioner, Nagpur, appointed by Governor S C Jamir in February to probe the Rs 100-crore scam has indicated serious malpractices.

In March, MiD DAY had reported that 450 veterinarian staff were recruited to MAFSU last year after having bribed university officials between Rs 2 lakh-Rs 5 lakh.
The matter came to light earlier in February after hundreds of aspiring candidates demanded a refund after they were refused the jobs.
The vice-chancellor of MAFSU, Dr A S Ninawe, was unavailable for comment.
