Flight develops crack

The impact of a towing vehicle on a Russian aircraft which was being towed towards the taxiway on Saturday in the Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, led to the cancellation of the flight. According to the ground handlers, because of the strong impact of the tractor, the lower portion of the cockpit developed a crack.

The handlers reportedly noticed the crack and engineers were called to fix the damage. When contacted, a Mumbai airport official said, "The incident occurred because of the impact of a towing vehicle." The flight was rescheduled to depart later in the day.
