HSC Board awaits decision on WhatsApp paper leak

After panic over the The Book Keeping and Accountancy paper leak in the ongoing Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination, the Mumbai division of State Board is currently awaiting a report from the cyber cell.

After panic over the The Book Keeping and Accountancy paper leak in the ongoing Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination, the Mumbai division of State Board is currently awaiting a report from the cyber cell. The paper was available on WhatsApp after 10.40 am for an exam scheduled for 11 am on Friday. After the Board was informed. officials verified the images as similar.

The exam was conducted without disruption. A report was later sent to the head office of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in Pune. Duttatray Jagtap, Chairman of the Mumbai division of State Board, said, “It does not seem to be major as students were in the hall by 10.30am. However, some were caught with their mobiles inside the hall and the device had the same images at 10.20 am. Investigations are on.”
