After months of house hunting, actor purchases bungalow for Rs 40 crore on 11th Road, the lane next to his earlier apartment
Actor Hrithik Roshan is all set to step out of daddy's shadow.
For months, the actor has been house hunting and had plans to move out from papa Rakesh Roshan's house, as reported by HiT LIST on June 4 (Hrithik will pay Rs 45 crore to move out of his father's place).
Finally, he has zeroed in on his dream home, not too far away from his current home at El Palazzo, JVPD, Juhu.
Roshan Jr has purchased a sprawling property on 11th Road for a whopping Rs 40 crore from an exporter, who has now moved to Andheri.
Rakesh Roshan, his wife, daughter Sunaina and granddaughter Sonalika live on the eighth, ninth and 10th floor of the building, situated on 12th Road.
Down memory lane
Sangeet Kumar, a celebrity real estate broker from Juhu, confirmed the deal. "Hrithik was looking for a property in Juhu for quite some time.
He has finally purchased Paras on the 11th Road and it's a beautiful property."
"The bungalow is two blocks away from Kavita building, where the actor spent most of his childhood," added another Juhu broker.

With this purchase, Hrithik will join several Bollywood stars that call 11th Road their home and will be neighbour to some of the bigwigs in the industry.u00a0
His new bungalow is opposite veteran actor Danny Denzongpa's villa and just a few blocks away from where late actor Amrish Puri lived.
New home for kids
However, Hrithik has no immediate plans to move out of El Palazzo.
A source close to the Roshans revealed, "Hrithik bought the Paras property four to five months ago. He will probably move into his new house once the kids grow up."
Old deal
Prior to purchasing the 11th Road bungalow, Hrithik was to purchase a three-storeyed building, Husman in the same lane.
He had plans to demolish the building and build a bungalow on the plot. However, after reports in the media, the deal was called off.
Repeated efforts to contact the Roshans proved futile.
