Following a tip off, Oshiwara police arrested an alleged arms dealer on Thursday from Bhushan Nagar, Jogeshwari.
Hari Lal (19), a native from Uttar Pradesh was held with two country made revolvers.
Dattatray Sankhe, the police officer who lead the team said, "We had information about this person coming to Mumbai with arms. Since this is an election time we need to be extra careful so that the election passes away peacefully. When we confronted him we found two country made revolvers in a plastic bag. We are investigating the case."
