Mumbai: A traffic police constable suffered a serious leg injury after a tempo dashed him in the central suburb of Matunga today, police said.
Driver of the tempo, Satish B Korve (35), was arrested.
Constable Subhash Patil was on duty at Dadar TT in Matunga when the tempo driven by Patil hit him at high speed, causing severe leg injuries, police said.
Patil was admitted to ICU in Sion hospital, but there was no danger to his life, they added.
