One is accused Amir's friend, who sourced sedative for Mukeem and the other promised to sell the question paper to the killers
According to statements by the boys, a friend had been asked to get a sedative capsule to the spot at Kalina where Mukeem was murdered.
The boys intended to spike a cold drink, get Mukeem unconscious and then kill him without any resistance.
"However, the plan failed as Mukeem refused to touch the drink and so had to be bludgeoned to death with a hammer," said investigation officer Baburao Mukhedkar from Khar police station.
"There was never any question of allowing Mukeem to live," he added.

According to the police, the boy who got the capsule was Amir's friend and prima facie did not have any knowledge of the murder plot.
The police are also on the lookout for the person who was supposed to sell the exam paper to the boys.
Police have zeroed in on the place where this boy was generally seen, but are yet to nab him.
