Central Railway (CR), Mumbai Division, has announced Special Traffic and Power Blocks over multiple nights this week and next for essential maintenance and infrastructure works on key suburban and mainline sections. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
Panvel–Kalamboli Special Power Block
CR will operate Special Traffic and Power Blocks between Panvel and Kalamboli on Platforms, Up & Down lines, Up & Down Loop lines, and Engine Reversal lines to facilitate infringement removal work in connection with the Panvel–Kalamboli Coaching Complex.

On November 21/22 (Friday/Saturday night), train services will run normally.

CR will also operate special traffic and power blocks between Nilje and Dativali (Thane District) on UP and DOWN lines to dismantle the existing road overbridge at Shilphata as part of the dedicated freight corridor corporation project. The block will be operated from 1.10 am to 4.10 am from November 25 to December 8.
