Mumbai’s drinking water stock has dropped to 9.8 per cent, around 141,866 million litres, enough to last only until the end of July, raising concerns ahead of the monsoon’s full arrival

The water levels in the seven lakes that supply drinking water to Mumbai dropped further on Wednesday to 9.8 per cent, or 141,866 million litres (ML) of water. This water stock will now last the city till the end of July.
