New Delhi: No Indian was among the 10 people who died in fire at a villa in Kuwait, the Ministry of External Affairs announced on Thursday.

In a statement, the Ministry said that it contacted the Indian embassy and was informed that the fire broke out at 8 a.m. on Thursday at a villa in Farwaniya and 10 people died due to suffocation.


"It is further informed that those who died are Pakistani nationals.



"There is no report of any Indian casualty," the statement said.
