12 shanties gutted in Goregaon

Over a dozen shanties were gutted in a major fire at Goregaon’s Khadapada area around 3 am today. No one was injured. Locals said a short circuit started a fire in one hut and it rapidly spread to other houses. Four fire engines took an hour to douse the blaze.
