A 23-year-old student of the Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Aundh, committed suicide in Lonavla yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Mayur Vilas Nagawde (23), a resident of Awasari in Ambegaon Taluka.

Note in pocket
Nagawde had gone to Lonavla on his own and a suicide note found in his pocket said no one should be blamed for the extreme step he was taking. Nagawde was found hanging from a branch of a tree near the Lonavala dam. "We got information around 11.30 am about the suicide when a passer-by saw the body hanging," a Lonavla city police officials said.

"The body was then sent to Khandala Government Hospital for post-mortem and has now been handed over to his relatives." The police said Nagawde's relatives could give no clue to what might have made him put an end to his life.
