An electrifying crusade

An urban monk from Goa is here this Friday to spread a sound that promises to break the radical while transmitting music and energy all around

And here was born the electronic musician whom the ethnic electronic lovers all across the globe now know as Tatva Kundalini. The man, who broke the myth that electronic music is brassy, is here at Pebbles to kick start this weekend.

However, 27-year-old Tatva Kundalini, who refuses to categorise his music to any particular genre, says, "I play the sound that comes from my soul. I don't know whether its rock and roll or electronic but I create what comes from inside."

True to his name, Tatva Kundalini, which means the hidden corporeal energy stored at the base of our spine, his music is spiritual, surreal and sensuous.

For those who feel that laptops, guitars, analog synthesizers bass and percussions create only sound and not music, this concert promises a welcome change.

The use of heavy electronic rock bass also creates a unique dance sound to which you can groove.

The electronic guru, who has lived in seclusion at Pushkar for two and a half years, says "I was sitting at the ghats of Pushkar when suddenly the name Tatva Kundalini came to my mind.

I got the answers of many questions like who am I? Why am I here and so on.u00a0 I realised that you've got to be complete to move ahead in life."

While confiding that though spiritually guided, he leads a life like any other normal guy Kundalini says, "I love playing at Bangalore and especially at Pebble. This time it is going to be mish-mash of some old and new releases."

A blend of psychedelic trance and death metal, his music is not something that hits you right away. But as the sound settles in you find yourself evolving in space filled with luminous sound.
