Muzffarnagar (UP): A court here today rejected the bail plea of co-accused Brijbir Singh in connection with gangster Vicky Tyagi murder case.

District Sessions Judge D.K. Shrivastava dismissed the bail plea of Brijbir saying that there is no case for the relief. Vicky Tyagi was shot dead in the court room by a juvenile masquerading as a lawyer here on February 16, 2015. The shooter was arrested on the spot and Brijbir Singh was apprehended the next day.

Some months ago, the inquiry has been handed over to CB-CID by the state government as some police officials, including a DySp, are among those named in the case.
