A 22-year-old eunuch was assaulted severely by other eunuchs last night around 11 pm. The eunuch Ramya was later beaten up by the police as well in Kalasipalya area in KR Market.
According to Ramya, for the last six years her business has been flourishing in Kalasipalya area.
But recently, another eunuch called Raji came to the area, which started affecting Ramya's business. Ramya warned Raji to stay away from her area but Raji did not listen.
They both started having frequent quarrels over business but yesterday things took an ugly turn. Around 10 pm, yesterday, they started having a verbal duel, which later turned violent.

Ramya bit Raji's neck. This infuriated Raji. She went to her area Geddalahalli and got 10 eunuchs with her to beat up Ramya.

The eunuchs assaulted Ramya. The situation got out of control and even the on duty beat police could not control it.
They had to call the special force Hoysala to get things in control. Seeing the Hoysala vehicle, other eunuchs fled from the spot.
Ramya decided not to complain to the police and tried to escape from the scene. The cops caught hold of Ramya and beat her up. As Ramya started to cry, a crowd started gathering in the area.
Ramya said, "First Raji's gang has beaten me and then the police. Where do I go? Raji wants to continue her rowdy trend in this area as well.
When I didn't allow her, she assaulted me. This is my profession and I beg police to give me protection."
"I reached only after I heard her crying. I realised that the matter could not be solved alone and so I informed Hoysala as well.

When Hoysala arrived, the other eunuchs ran away," said beat police official V Gopalaswamy. "I didn't see police beating her. We are trying our best to give her protection."
