Choose sarees from different parts of the country and jewellery at the Taj's exclusive Trunk Show today
Taj's in-house lifestyle store Taj Khazana is hosting a Trunk Show for the first time at the Taj Mahal Palace today. Shoppers can choose from an exclusive range of sarees from different regions of the country, as well as classic and contemporary jewellery.
The saree collection comprises original hand-woven weaves, using traditional designs and motifs embellished with zari.
The show will bring intricate, hand-woven and authentic weaves to shoppers, in the attempt to revive the traditional art form. Prices range from Rs 3,500 to one lakh.
Colours of the collection will reflect the rich shades of India, varying from rich, deep hues to pastels.
Highlights include the Shikargah range of Benarasi sarees that uses traditional motifs of birds, animals and hunters.
