Director Farah Khan, who once swore to never make a film without Shah Rukh Khan as her hero, chose Akshay Kumar for her next venture Tees Maar Khan. The film is written and co-produced by her husband Shirish Kunder.

Status now: Akshay Kumar has three other films lined up for 2010, including Vipul Shah's Action Replay, Priyadarshan's Khatta Meetha and Nikhil Advani's Patiala House.
