Atleast four people were killed after luxury bus went out of control near Shirdi on Ahmednagar-Manmad Highway on Sunday.

The accident took place around 5.30 am on Sunday morning near Pimpali Nirmal Shirval area on Ahmednagar-Manmad highway.


According to police, the luxury bus bearing number MP-13-P-3954 was trying to overtake the container (GJ-12-Z-1336) and lost control. It dashed the container, which was carrying iron rod hit the luxury bus driver from behind.

The bus driver and the cleaner were rushed to hospital at Shirdi and are critical.

The deceased are yet to be identified.
