and quizzed them about their inspiration, and what can Pune's music fans expect from their concert tonight
You are performing in India for the first time. How does it feel?
Henri: We are very enthusiastic about our performance. We have always wanted to share our passion for classical music with a wide spectrum of audience.

How long have you known each other as musicians and how do you gel as a group?
Jean-Philippe: We have known each other for several decades now.u00a0
Olivier: The musical world is akin to a huge family, with all the festivals and concerts helping us to meet on a regular basis. We all live in Paris, and get along both as friends and musical partners.
Henri Demarquette
India is a land of diversities. What are you looking to discover during this trip?u00a0
Henri: The most important aspect of a country is the spirit of its people; the way they live, feel and think. We are looking forward to interacting and knowing more about the rich culture of this land.
Are there any contemporary composers whose music you'd like to play?
Henri: I play a lot of contemporary music and commission new pieces as well.
Jean-Phillippe: I love Pascal Dusapin, Philippe Hersant and Laurent Petitgirard.
Olivier: I love to play the violin concerto of Henri Dutilleux called L'arbre des songes.
Who is your favourite classical composer?
Henri: Bach.
Jean-Phillippe: There are too many to specify. I'm in love with every composer I play.
Henri: I have a special attraction for French music, but I would never be able to 'choose' between Schubert, Brahms, Beethoven or Mozart as they are equally great.
