ongoing dance and fitness programme at a premium mall in the capital is all about getting creative withu00a0 that weight, and losing it without losing your mind.





Here, they teach you 'morning sunrise flower' yoga, which is the perfect remedy for tired bones and stretched muscles. The movement sequence used has been designed specifically for this class, with elements of dance (ballet, modern) and core yoga. "The class starts and ends with meditation, involving breathing and visualisation, especially focusing on the opening of the heart chakra, hence the name Flower Yoga. In fact, this is one form, the effects of which you feel after you have finished your class," informs Gilles Chuyen, the French yoga exponent teaching at the class. The exercise leads to weight loss, body tonicity and reshaping, peace and flexibility of body and mind. And of course, tons of unnecessary 'exercise stress'!

Salsa aerobics uses the sensuality and appeal of Latin music to create a mood of fun and celebration, and make fitness easy and effortless. Movement routines are designed from various Latin dance stylesu00a0-- salsa, mambo, cha cha cha, tangou00a0-- for cardio and general health training. The class aims at well-being and fat-burning. You can also learn individual steps from various Latin dance styles, spiced up to suit the health mood. These apart, tiny tots, too, get a chance to become part of the classes. That's some family fitness in style.
