For this singer and composer, fame seems to follow him wherever he goes. The finest Indian artiste in the field of western popular music, Gary Lawyer is not here to prove anything to anybody and we're pretty sure he needn't!

Back in Bangalore after quite some time, the crooner will be performing a couple of originals apart from his usual covers. Why, we ask? Fully aware, that his originals are much more fun and he quickly replies, "India does not support original music." "Our original songs are not played regularly and hardly ever make it to the charts," he adds.

He wants to make the night at Bangalore a night to remember and enjoys giving people a performance that will keep them satisfied and happy. Lawyer has always enjoyed playing for the city's audience. He calls the Bangalore audience, "mature and culturally rich." He also enjoys the fact that "Bangalore likes having fun."

However, he does add, that the audience across the country is slowly growing up to appreciate good music.

Lawyer believes that he is a child of destiny and takes life as it comes. On his music, he says quite humbly, "I am a guy who does purely western music without any compromising," and the difference is, "I believe in the kind of music I do."
