After targetting Vijay Mallya and Rahul Gandhi, the group called Legion hacked into the Twitter accounts of senior journalist Barkha Dutt, and later her colleague Ravish Kumar.
We use Twitter as a means to reach the public. We don't just hack Twitter accounts, go through the data and find out,” one of the Tweets read on Kumar’s account. Another said that they would be targetting Lalit Modi next. The tweets were later deleted.
The one posted on Barkha Dutt’s account said “Barkha Dutt email dump coming soon. Stay tuned.
Earlier, Legion had hacked Mallya's Twitter account, and put up abusive posts, while give details of his alleged assets. Congress vice-president Gandhi was also at the receiving end of some unsavoury tweets.
