The Bigg Boss inmate says Shah Rukh should not have made "pro-Pakistan" comments
He is no less than Shah Rukh Khan for people from eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Kamal Rashid Khan's daring venture against the backdrop of MNS' tirade against north Indians in Mumbai, 'Deshdrohi', played out like an anthem for the backbenchers of Bhojpuri film industry.
The maverick actor, who abbreviated his name on the King Khan himself - KRK, has done a volte face and supported Shiv Sena's threatening tactics against Shah Rukh for his alleged "pro-Pakistan" remarks in connection with Pakistani players being not picked up for IPL.
"A person, who has invested thousands of crores in buying a cricket team, has the right to choose anybody. But it is SRK's responsibility to keep off from making pro-Pakistan statements. I it's wrong," the actor told MiD DAY.
Shah Rukh, owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, had opined that Pakistani players should have been included in IPL, following which the Shiv Sena slammed him and announced that his latest 'My Name is Khan' will not be allowed to be released in Mumbai. "I feel Indian public figures should think twice before making statements that can go against India or in support of Pakistan. We all know what they have done to our country with orchestrating repeated terror attacks," he added.u00a0
"None of the political parties can be taken at face value. Whatever Rahul Gandhi said is right but his party's government in Maharashtra did nothing to protect the rights of north Indians while they were being beaten by MNS or Shiv Sena," the Bigg Boss participant said.
