Rail traffic on Konkan railway route was severely affected on Wednesday as several trains were halted at various stations after a landslide near Ratnagiri, officials said. The incident has occurred last night.
Public Relations Manager, Konkan Railway Corporation Limited Baban Ghatge said that work to clear the landslide has begun and we are yet to know when train traffic would be resumed.
Different trains including Karwar CST express, Netravati Express, Matsagandha Express and others are regulated at various railway stations. The traffic on this route was off the track for almost seven days this month due to landslide.
