New Delhi: The Lok Sabha was adjourned till 12 p.m. Tuesday following protests by members of the opposition over the issue of black money.

As soon as the house met for the day, Trinamool Congress (TMC) members who were supported by members of the Janata Dal-United (JD-U) and the Samajwadi Party demanded a suspension of the question hour.

When Speaker Sumitra Mahajan did not agree to this, they moved to near the speaker's podium carrying black umbrellas with "Kaala Dhan Waapas Lao" (Bring back black money) written on them, forcing her to adjourn the house till 12 p.m.

Earlier, TMC members also protested outside parliament.
