Korba: A 30-year-old man allegedly killed his wife and her paramour after he got to know about their affair in Chhattisgarh's Janjgir-Champa district, police said on Wednesday.
As per preliminary investigation, the accused, Purnesh Dhiwar, found his wife Khushi (27) and her paramour Pawan Dhiwar together last night at Bhojpur village. Enraged over it, he thrashed the duo with a log of wood, SHO Umesh Mishra said.
The woman died on the spot and Pawan succumbed to his injuries while being shifted to a local hospital, he said. A case has been registered in this connection, he said adding that a manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
