Marathi film producers are miffed with vice-president of Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA) Sushma Shiromani for alleged attempts to malign the image of present president T P Aggarwal.
Twenty-four producers have come out in support of Aggarwal, who is contesting the present presidential election for IMPPA. The producers blame Shiromani for creating a rift between Marathi members.
The election is scheduled to take place today. Shiromani is fighting the poll against Aggarwal and has filed a complaint against him stating he has underworld connections.
Vikas Patil, who is contesting IMPPA for prime member category, said, "Shiromani is misguiding Marathi producers.

It is sad that a false complaint has been lodged against Aggarwal. We are condemning her and supporting Aggarwal."
Shiromani said, "The allegations against me are false and the truth will come out with police investigations."
