Mutalik urges governor to revoke ban
Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Mutalik has urged Governor Rameshwar Thakur to revoke ban against his entry into Dakshina Kannada.
Pramod Mutalik and his men met the Governor today and submitted a memorandum in this regard. They warned of intensifying the protests across the state if ban on Mutalik's entry was not withdrawn within three days.
The Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Dakshina Kannada, V. Ponnuraj, had issued an order banning the entry of the Sri Ram Sene chief into the district for one year, from last week. The ban, according to the DC, was based on his role in the pub attack and the possibility of his entry leading to law and order problems
Sri Rama Sene has launched statewide protests demanding the revoke of the ban.
