Pankaj Advani, the new world professional billiard champion, was welcomed by an ecstatic brother, mother and some close friends at the Bangalore International Airport at around 3 am early Tuesday morning.
Some Karnataka Billiards Association members were also present at the airport to receive him. The mood was quite sober, just like the champ himself .
The tired yet composed Pankaj told the waiting media, "I am very happy. I hope my win adds inspirational value to the cueists of the country."
Earlier, Pankaj's mother Kajal and brother, Shree treated everyone waiting for the champ to coffee.
