A 41-year-old man from Wadala, who was undergoing treatment at the civic-run Bhabha hospital died due to leptospirosis on Tuesday. 

He was diagnosed with the water-borne disease on July 12 and had to be shifted to the ICU for further treatment.


Doctors say he was on ventilator support after which his condition worsened.



His initial symptoms were only mild fever and chills.
