Police have been put on high alert to ensure an incident-free poll on April 23.

Police in Bengaluru are gearing up for a incident-free poll on April 23.
Nearly 18,000 police will be deployed to manu00a0the 3,575 polling stations. Of these polling booths, 1,400 have been marked as sensitive and 900 hyper-sensitive.
Police have been put on high alert specially in the four Lok Sabha constituencies in the state.
Alok Kumar, joint commissioner of police said nearly 1100 rowdy-sheeters have been taken into preventive custody to ensure a peaceful voting process.
