Sonel Singh does catwalk for Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week auditions
Her "long bones" could not help her win a rough and tough reality TV game show but Sonel Singh is quite sure that it would help her make a mark on the beauty scene.
"I was advised to try modeling as I have long bones. They should be used properly, I was told," the MTV Roadies 5.0 participant said.
The leggy beauty was spotted trying his luck at the auditions for the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week. Sonel was the only girl who reached the final three of the fifth edition of the MTV reality show.
She and the winner, Ashutosh Kaushik, were an item on the reality show. However, the two broke up soon.
"I broke up with Ashutosh last year. I am not associated with him in any way now. He is my past," she clarified. Later, Ashutosh participated in another reality show Bigg Boss and went on to win it too.
When she was asked in an interview to MiD DAY about Ashutosh's performance in the Bigg Boss , Sonel had this to say: "The housemates have understood that he is a rough and a raw guy, you know but being rude and pinching a woman's breast becomes very putting off for the audiences and also for the contestants. I think they've caught on to his behaviour, and it won't go in his favour."
The wannabe model said she does not follow the latest version of MTV Roadies.
Sonel's elder sister Sahiba Singh is a model and she expressed the hope to retrace the path her sister had walked. Sonel had also acted in a two-minute role in the Vinay Pathak-starrer 'Dasvidaniya'.
The panel of judges for selecting the models for the show consisted of Tinu Verghese, Vidyun Singh, Aparna Behl, Ashish Soni, Varun Behl, Ayesha Thapar, Rahul Khanna and Vinod Kaul. On the winning formula for aspiring models, Varun said, "Tall, young girls with a lot of confidence are our prime aim. We have lots of show that will showcase Indo-western wear, so our primary concern is to look for the one who can carry western and Indian outfits with equal ease."
