Lately, the 'Link Road' side of Andheri has been spilling over with restaurants. Yana Sizzlers, a Pune-based chain, joins the gang with outlets in Oshiwara and Andheri. It's nearly midnight by the time we make it here, looking forward to a sizzler meal. 
The interiors and the paraphernalia on the table, complete with 'spot-the-odd-one-out' puzzles, remind us of Bombay Blue as does one citrusy green wall. The air is thick with sizzler smoke. The menu isn't terribly exciting with a usual selections of starters, sizzlers, shakes et al. We pick two mocktails:u00a0 Strawberry Colada and Cream Side, and a starter, Veg Schezwan Fingers.
The Strawberry Colada is a milky white shake reddened with strawberry crush, topped with a coconutty flavour.
The Cream Side isn't a great fusion of orange juice and vanilla ice cream.
The Veg Schezwan Fingers are simply deep fried veggie rolls with spicy sauce. Average.
For the mains, we pick a Veg Satellite Sizzler and a Grilled Chicken Salami Chicken. Bubbling hot, the two soon make their way to the table.
The Veg Satellite Sizzler is packed tight with sautu00e9ed carrots, beans, peas, mushrooms, a patty, fries, the usual. Fried onions mingle with the rice, with a strange but strong flavour of sambhar.
The Grilled Chicken Salami with noodles is spiced with barbecue sauce. The neat roundels of chicken go superbly with the noodles, sautu00e9ed spinach and other veggies.
By this time they're downing the shutters, so we plough through our wooden sizzler trays, try to finish upu2026 and fail. We get it packed and scoot.
Yana Sizzlers has pretty regular decent fare, but it's nothing you wouldn't get at another joint. Some inventiveness please?
