The international jazz trio wants to walk the trodden path and then improvise on it with their own music and compositions. After that, it's just going to be one jazzy melodious evening.
Holger Jetter, a German violinist is not new to India. He and Mishko M'Ba, French bassists have had a seamless connect earlier too. This time around Carl Clements joins the duo.
Holger avers, "We met each other earlier at music festivals but finally decided to come together and play." For the performance at Olive Beach, they will pick up standards from the late 40s and 70s.

"Standards are traditional songs that were popular with jazz. We will take these as a launching platform and then after 30 seconds or so improvise on it with our own music and styles," adds Holger.

As the trio weaves together their music like a secret gossamer thread, Holger informs, "If you're knowledgeable about jazz, when we begin, you will know which song we are playing but after that, it will be our very own."
