Candles and guitars?!
A room glowing with soft candle light, a man playing the guitar and singing your favourite tunes -- sounds straight out of the last chick flick you saw, right? If you have seen this crooner perform with his band, now is the time to catch him in a solo performance. Rajeev from Rajeev and the Rebels is here to enthrall you. Get ready to be romanced, seriously! "Sometimes just an acoustic guitar and some haunting rock n pop songs coupled with candlelight is pure magic therapy," says Rajeev and we completely agree. He will be playing covers of Simple Minds, Duran Duran, The Youngbloods, Pink Floyd and Nirvana. "This music goes down well with couples, coz it's so mellow and soft. It's full of feeling. They don't have to glance away, they can just listen and look at each other in the candle's glow," says Rajeev.

Simple soft melodies
This band from Delhi does not believe in categorizing music to any genre. Inspired by both Eastern and Western styles, HFT plays a brand of music, which they prefer to call Jazz Fusion. They have a simple sound that often does just the kind of magic you'd want to hear on a Thursday night. The band features Arjun Sen on guitar, Lewis Hilt on bass and Sam Shullai on drums.

Shaking it in style
Yupp, we couldn't be talking about anything else, but the seductive form of belly dancing. Now whether, you like to believe it or not, it is a form of dance, an actual form of dance which has fascinated the world for years, with its complicated moves and figure requirements. Catch Sonia and Moria Chappel as they get your pulse racing and sweep you off your feet with their sensual and natural grace. While Sonia's fluidity lends a floating sensation, Moria's feminine yet fierce style symbolizes tribal fusion isolation and individualism.

Electronica, we rejoice
Electronic Bhaithak with Tatva Kundilini and Chez Sabbah is finally here and they've come from across the worlds opposite corners to give our city a performance we'll surely remember. OK, jokes apart, these guys are really famous for their electronic jugalbandis. However, they strictly don't use CD music in their performance and play all their music, live. Tatva-Kundalini meaning Shiv Shakti aka Aditya Anand creates magic on his bass guitar wand. Chez Sabbah from San Francisco plays dance music off his lappie that features styles that include the ethnic and experimental. Electronic Baithak also uses global ethnic instruments like the dranyen, mandolin, nagadas, djembes, tabla, morchang, gopichand, bells and several sized gongs. The group will be performing a complete new set for Kyra however. "We don't have any specific routine. We have our own blend of fusion and people love it," says Prateek, the percussionist and the artist manager.
