The incident came to light yesterday after a rape case was registered by Gandhinagar police against Suresh Goud, a physical education teacher on the complaint of child rights activists from Mahila Samkhya and Bala Sangham, they said.
The activists said the 14-year-old victim, studying in Bhoiguda government school in Secunderabad is an orphan and was sexually abused by Goud for a year. The minor girl has been sent for medical examination and the accused is absconding, police said.
