The deceased has been identified as Tanya, a SSLC student at Kumaran's School. "Her father is an IT executive and mother is a housewife," a police official said.

This is the first student casualty this year The SSLC exams are scheduled from March 15, and police suspect that the fear of exams might be the reason behind this extreme step.
