The Guide tucked into yummy snacks at the new eatery at Baner and found it to be value-for-money
The latest addition to the dummy's food guide of the city is the new snack corner at Baner ufffd Khao Khilao. The place looks vibrant and welcoming making it a perfect haunt for youngsters and office-goers alike. It's actually a breath of fresh air on an otherwise mundane stretch.
We found the yellow and red hued d ufffdcor to be stylish and appreciate the mellow lights and spacious seating arrangements. Their offerings include spicy North Indian Chaats and Dahi Wadas, South Indian delicacies, ice golas as well as desserts like Fafda Jalebi and Ras Malai.
We started by ordering Cold Coffee (Rs 15) followed by Kachori Chaat (Rs 25) and Dal Kachori (Rs 10). Their Cold Coffee is a must-have and its chocolate topping looked tempting and tasted delicious. The Dal Kachori was quite average, though, and Kachori Chaat had too much curd in it.
We ordered a Mix Uttapam (Rs 25) and Pav Bhaji (Rs 30). The Mix Uttapam tasted average but the Pav Bhaji was finger-licking good albeit a bit spicy. Finally, we ended our meal with a plate of Ras Malai (Rs 10) that tasted heavenly and we couldn't resist but order another plate. The service was efficient and prompt and the attendants were keen to help and well-versed with the menu.u00a0
