Rekindleu00a0 your college romance, watch the band perform yet again

Quite possible that you met your sweetheart attending one of their concerts. Consequently, maybe you gathered the courage, to propose her amid one of their electrifying numbers, in their next concert.u00a0
If you grew up in Delhi, some part of your life is intertwined with Indian Ocean. Relive those moments yet again and now that you two are a little older; not in some crowded college ground but in exquisite shacks with water cascades hinting of surrealism.

The band is going to play in a watering hole in Delhi today. More or less 30 years of romance with music has left them matured like old wine and they don't seem like planning to stop for a while. Rather they are on a spree touring the country and abroad with a revitalised vigour. Asheem Chakravarty untimely demise might have left a void in the band which will never be filled ever; perhaps the new energetic mood the band is in, is the silent tribute to their fallen comrade.u00a0

Add to that the advantage of having the contemporary fusion band all by yourself minus the hazard of getting your foot stomped and ribs elbowed.u00a0

The kitchen and bar where they are performing at has a 6000 ft alfresco area giving you the opportunity to enjoy the nippy evening. Not to mention the dance floor where you can shake a leg with your partner when the mood warms up. And yes, the sheer pleasure of a multi-cuisine spread to choose from. Don't give this one a miss.

Enter the Tigeress
This film is not your regular 'save-the-tiger' documentary. Also, it doesn't give you information about how tigers 'eat, mate or sleep'. Tiger Queen is rather about Machli's downfall, one of the most famous tigers on television who ruled the ruined of Ranthambore for 11 years only to succumb to hunger, dying a painful death. It explores the battle for power and supremacy in a tiger family. Machli's three cubs are at the verge of adulthood and thus starts a power struggle. The dominant daughter pushes all the others from the territory.

Finally, Machli too has to surrender and she is thrown out. The new queen of Ranthambore has taken her throne. Shot by a single hand held camera in 130 days spread over a period of two years, the film is a must watch because it doesn't talk about human animal conflict or other issues. It simply depicts the harsh survival process a tiger has to go through. If you are tired of visiting malls and watching pot-boilers munching popcorn, take a break. Watch this film and trust us you'll stop advocating ideas tou00a0 save wild animals and actually start doing something about it.
