A group of engineers in Bangalore have come up with a unique initiative to teach traffic rules and road sense to the techies and college students of the city.

A group of engineers in Bangalore have come up with a unique initiative to teach traffic rules and road sense to the techies and college students of the city.






"Our initiative has a simple message in it. It is an attempt to impart basic traffic lessons to IT sector employees and college students, who are the major contributors to the city traffic," said Vishwanath Seetharam.

The team members have shot the traffic movements on the busy roads in areas like Marathalli, Banashankari, Jayanagar and Hudson circle.

Offences and traffic violations like drink and drive, signal jumps, driving on footpath and crossing speed limit have been captured.

Opinions of experts and public on accidents, casualties and deaths due to road rage have also been included in the documentary.

"All the scenes are simple, real and yet worth watching. The incidents that have an impact and a message are being shot," added Vishwanath.

The team, through the documentary, will spread the message of safe driving and urge the youth to adopt discipline while driving on roads.u00a0

"Those who watch the film will at least think before violating traffic rules. This would mean that we have attained our aim. Moreover, a disciplined driver will pave way for change," said P Somaiah, another team member.
