Tree plantation to mark Syedna's 102nd birthday

The initiative also marked the completion of 50 years of Syedna as Dai al-Mutlaq (spiritual head) of the community. Syedna’s birthday falls on March 6.
The campaign was initiated on Saturday evening with a goal of distributing 5,00,000 saplings, said Taikhoom Mohyiuddin of the Burhani Foundation (India) and grandson of Syedna. According to BFI, 80,000 sapplings would be be planted in the city with subject to permission from authorities.
