Following the remarkable adaptation of Q & A into an Oscar winning film, FTII along with FWA have organised a seminar on adaptation of literature in cinema on March 21-22
Atul Tiwari, who's a writer and director, said, "It's not easy to adapt literature into cinema as literature has its own distinctiveness. Hence, it requires a lot of skills." Tiwari, who is also one of the conveners at the seminar, added that while adapting a novel, one should make sure that it doesn't lose its essence.u00a0
Apart from the topic of discussion, the seminar will be a rare treat for film buffs and FTII students, as they'll get a chance to interact with the well-known directors and scriptwriters from the industry.
