Sitapur: A 30-year-old man committed suicide after attacking a woman with a sickle in Uttardhona village here, police said.
Munendra attacked his neighbour Sheelu (28) with a sickle and later committed suicide in Misrikh area yesterday, they said.
Sheelu, who suffered serious injuries, has been refereed to a hospital in Lucknow, police said.
It was immediately not clear as to why he attacked the woman.
