In the latest case of medical apathy, three men were forced to carry body of their relative in a plastic bag for autopsy because the man who died was denied an autopsy by a doctor in Katihar, Bihar.

According to reports, they were also denied an ambulance to carry the body to Bhagalpur for postmortem. The incident comes barely weeks after Dana Majhi from Kalahandi in Odisha was denied an ambulance after which he carried his wife’s body for 10 km on his shoulder.
