Sagar (Madhya Pradesh): Jawaharlal Nehru Police Academy ASP Savita Sohane on Monday said that Anamika Kushwaha, the trainee sub inspector who was found dead at the institute, had been mentally stressed for the past few days,

'Anamika Kushwaha jumped into the river and died. It is said that she was mentally stressed for the last few days. She gave her exam last year and joined the batch this February,' Sohane said.

Kushwaha's body was found earlier in the day.

Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh has referred to her death as yet another casualty in the Vyapam scam.
