Congress parliamentarian Renukha Chowdhury blamed the weather. "It is hot outside, so people usually go inside the parliament which has air-conditioning and therefore close their eyes to relax," she said.
Renuka Chowdhury is a Rajya Sabha MP of Congress from Andhra Pradesh, and a former Union minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ministry of Women and Child Development in the Government of India.
