Although the world has recognised and acknowledged the talent of women, gender discrimination still prevails in our country.
The finding of a recent survey reveals that women in India hold only 10 per cent of the senior management posts.

Whereas Sudha Natarajan, president of Lintas, lamented, "It's unfair to judge the capability of an individual solely on the basis of his/her gender.

However, it's not the case in other nations. Women employees make up 22 per cent of the IT workforce on a global scale. Thus, there's a still a ray of hope.

According to Tracy Ann Curtis, the chief inclusion and diversity officer of Cisco, who was in the city yesterday, "It was only six-years-ago that women employees of Cisco in India, with immense fortitude, succeeded in bringing their parents and in-laws onto the companies health care schemes."
Whereas, Jignasha Patel, head of human resource, Cisco, said, "There are a lot of women in the corporate world these days.
