India's bid for permanent Security Council seat gets a boost as UN adopts negotiations on reforms

India is hopeful of a permanent candidature to the Security Council after the UN General Assembly (UNGA) unanimously adopted a negotiating document for reforms, ahead of its 70th regular session beginning on Tuesday.
