Mid-air scare! Jet Airways flight passengers suffer nasal bleeding

20 September,2018 12:34 PM IST

A Boeing 737 Jet Airways flight returned to Mumbai after several passengers on the Jaipur-bound flight on Thursday suffered nasal and ear bleeding due to loss in air cabin pressure. An official at aviation regulator DGCA said, "During the climb, the crew forgot to select a switch due to which cabin pressurisation could not be maintained. "As a result, oxygen masks got deployed." Initial reports say that out of 166 passengers on board, 30 passengers were affected. While some suffered nose bleeding, few had ear bleeding and some complained of a headache. The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has sought a report from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation over the incident. Watch this video to know more.
